In 1976, two former Denver public defenders, Hal Haddon and Bryan Morgan, established a law firm which specialized in criminal defense and civil trials. Lee Foreman, also a former Denver public defender, signed on in 1977 to form the partnership of Haddon, Morgan & Foreman. Although the firm has grown to twelve lawyers and a support staff of eleven, the focus of the firm's practice has not changed. Upon Bryan Morgan's retirement in 2003, the firm name was expanded to include other principals. It is known today as Haddon, Morgan, Mueller, Jordan, Mackey & Foreman P.C., or Haddon/Foreman for shorthand.
All of the lawyers in Haddon/Foreman have extensive trial and appellate experience forged from private practice and public defender training. Our lawyers represent clients in Colorado state and federal courts as well as other courts throughout the Rocky Mountain West.
Our trial and appellate practice has a broad scope. We have defended individuals and major corporations against criminal allegations based on economic, environmental and personal conduct. We have acted as plaintiff's counsel and defense counsel in significant personal injury, legal malpractice, commercial and patent litigation.
Our high-profile cases are well-known but do not define our practice. Many of our best results have involved cases which did not result in publicity or criminal charges. All of the firm's lawyers accept court appointments on behalf of indigents. Every case is different but our goal is always the same-effective and personalized representation of clients whose lives and reputations are at risk.
