Pamela Robillard Mackey
Practice Areas: Criminal Defense; Civil Litigation. Currently best known for her defense of Kobe Bryant, she practices criminal defense and complex civil litigation as a shareholder at Haddon, Morgan, Mueller, Jordan, Mackey & Foreman, P.C., in Denver, Colorado. She regularly speaks and publishes in the area of criminal defense. She is formerly of the Colorado Public Defender's Office (1989-1994). She received her J.D. with highest honors from The George Washington University Law School in 1985 where she served as Executive Editor of The George Washington Law Review. Her undergraduate degree is in Journalism. She received her B.S. from The University of Colorado at Boulder in 1981 with highest honors. She is currently the chair of the Criminal Justice Act Standing committee having been appointed by Chief Judge Babcock, a member of the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals criminal pattern jury instruction committee, a member of the DBA Conciliation Panel and Regional Co-Chair of the ABA Committee on White-collar crime. She is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, is listed in The Best Lawyers in America, and was selected by her peers in 2003 as the Best of the Bar in individual criminal defense. She is a past-president of the Colorado Women's Bar Association.
